For years, the conversations that happen on our massage table have ranged everywhere — from how to recover faster from a hard CrossFit week, to why your shoulder keeps acting up at the desk, to how cupping actually works under the skin. We’ve been meaning to write some of these answers down so we can share them more broadly, and this blog is that space.

What you’ll find here

Posts will fall into a few buckets:

• Recovery science — what the research actually says about massage, cupping, E-Stim, and stretching.
• Athlete spotlights — how local Englewood-area athletes use bodywork as part of their training and racing.
• Everyday tension — practical advice for the desk workers, parents, and weekend warriors who deal with chronic neck, back, and shoulder pain.
• Studio updates — new services, schedule changes, and occasional behind-the-scenes from the Englewood studio.

Why we’re writing

Massage therapy gets oversimplified. A lot of what’s online is either marketing fluff or technical jargon that doesn’t translate to real-world questions like “should I get a massage before or after my race?” or “why does cupping leave those marks?”

The goal here is to give you straight, useful answers — the same kind we’d give you on the table.
