What is passive stretching?
At Breathe Massage & Fitness, something we are proud to complement your massage session to help achieve your goal for the treatment is “passive stretching”. Passive stretching is a technique we incorporate into some of our massage services (particularly sports massage and therapeutic massage for pain relief) that helps realign the body. The client stays completely relaxed while your massage therapist stretches the muscles for you, which allows you to achieve a deep stretch in a relaxed state that is impossible to achieve on one’s own. Please feel free to ask your massage therapist to include or exclude any stretching for your massage.
